Delete notes***** temp folders.

I had this same problem and found another post on the forum where clearing the notes temp folders was the solution. That solution fixed my problem and will probably fix yours.

Exit Notes.
Navigate to:

C:\Documents and Settings\yourprofile\Local Settings\Temp

Then delete any folders that start with "Notes" and have a unique code after it. "NotesB230J" for example.

On vista, the location is slightly different. C:\Users\yourprofile\AppData\Local\Temp

Make sure you show hidden folders before trying to do this.

Restart Notes.
Retry your document edit.

Should be fixed.
